Dr Dustin Mace
Due to the severity of the boys tooth decay and their fear of going to the dentist, a decision was made to perform the boys procedures at Webster Ambulatory Surgery Center under anesthesia. This allowed Dr. Mace to address each dental concern in one visit.
Damon received three fillings and four stainless steel crowns (“caps”) and Justin received three fillings and six stainless steel crowns. “Stainless steel crowns are indicated whenever a cavity becomes large or if there is extensive wear or cracking on the teeth due to grinding or broxism and are very common in children with severe dental decay or inadequate dental care at home,” said Dr. Mace. “They provide strength, durability, and stay on until the permanent teeth erupt.”
Janet is very pleased with the care her children received from Dr. Mace. “Dr. Mace was very thorough and explained everything to me. Justin and Damon love seeing the dentist now because Dr. Mace made it a fun experience for them.”
